About.

AI-powered systems for operators and small teams. Built quietly, used daily, designed to compound.

I'm Lorenz Villalba, based in Brisbane, Australia. I work as a Project Lead at Askable, where I lead a global team of Project Managers and run our AI Enablement initiative, partnering with teams across the company to embed AI-led processes that change how we work.

Outside of that, I help founders and small teams design and build the same kind of systems on their own scale.

A short list of project types, on purpose.

  • Agentic systems & integrations: custom Claude skills, MCP-connected workflows, and local-first agents
  • Data and document automation: bulk processing, categorisation, migration
  • Workflow automations: connecting tools like Notion, Gmail, and ClickUp into repeatable flows
  • Personal AI Infrastructure: end-to-end OpenClaw setup with custom agents, skills, and integrated workflows
  • AI enablement inside small teams: adoption that compounds, not one-off experiments
  • Team building & scaling: hiring, managing, and growing teams to handle volume and operate independently
  • Internal tooling, dashboards, and operating systems: the connective tissue between people, data, and decisions
  1. P / 01 Understand the outcome. Define what we're actually trying to achieve before anything gets built. Most problems get solved faster when you spend longer naming them properly.
  2. P / 02 Build the smallest version that works. Not just functional but useful. A v1 that already has impact, even if it's rough, beats a polished v3 that took three months to complete.
  3. P / 03 Iterate on the friction. Find where it breaks, where it slows, where it gets ignored. That's the signal. Polish comes later; first you fix what's actually getting in the way.
  4. P / 04 Adjust, then stop. Refine until the outcome is met. Knowing when to stop is part of the work. Over-building is just procrastination with extra steps.

Built

  • A team of 8 local AI agents, each with specific expertise, orchestrated via MCP across Notion, Gmail, ClickUp, and more
  • Custom Claude skills for finance and training-data work
  • Knowledge bases in Notion for Askable and Neuron Mobility

Shipped

  • AI enablement lead at Askable, translating capability into team workflow
  • Introduced project management tooling at Askable to track lifecycle end-to-end
  • Designed a handover process that lifted delivery quality and cut scope creep

Scaled

  • Co-founded an e-commerce brand, $0 to $80k revenue in 10 months, hands-on META ads
  • Scaled Neuron Mobility ops from 1 city to 25 globally, managing teams up to 200
  • Create content that teaches operators how to use agentic systems and work the modern way

If you're an operator, founder, or small team trying to make AI compound in your work — I'd like to hear what you're building.
